Thomas Fraychineaud, MD

Dr. Thomas Fraychineaud, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with advanced training in adult reconstruction, specializing in hip and knee replacement. He provides compassionate, evidence-based care for orthopedic injuries and hip and knee arthritis.

Dr. Fraychineaud grew up in Tacoma, WA, where he was a year-round high school athlete. He studied biomechanical engineering at Stanford, where he competed on the varsity diving team. He conducted research at the National Institutes of Health and the Hospital for Special Surgery before earning his medical degree at New York Medical College. He completed his general orthopedic surgery residency at George Washington University in Washington, DC, and his adult reconstruction fellowship at the University of Minnesota. He performs anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, and robotic-assisted joint replacement, as well as complex reconstruction and revision joint replacement.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Fraychineaud cherishes time with his family and enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and other outdoor activities in the Pacific Northwest.
