Thoughtful, kind and ethical. Wanted to really research the not-so-obvious source of my hip and surrounding pain prior to rushing into surgery.

The only times I have seen Dr. Ferro were during my initial consult via Teleheatb and minutes before my knee replacement surgeries (I had both knees replaced with 4 months in between surgeries). He does not show up for your follow up appointments, and you’ll either see his assistant doctor or his PA or have to wait for when he might show up. I waited over 90 minutes to see him for less than 5 minutes the first time and never bothered waiting again because his staff never knows exactly when he will arrive. Dr. Ferro is very nice and has good bedside manner and while he seems to be a good surgeon, only time will tell. He told me that I would be able to get back to everything that I could do before but that is not the case yet. I am one year out from my first surgery (right knee) and about 8 months from my second surgery (left knee). My left knee is doing better than my right knee with little explanation other than maybe because the patella wasn’t resurfaced. Poor pre-op & post-op care.
