Although my fusions have not worked yet, I appreciate him being open minded about possible reasons why and his willingness to have a conversations about it. Always willing to answer questions and do explanations.

Excellent pre- and post-op education; great bedside manner and surgery team!

No pre op appointment so I didn’t know what to expect from the surgery. Did have an appointment 6 months ago to discuss options and decided after the appointment. Before surgery doc talked primarily to my spouse, rarely looking at me. He mostly talked about the surgery center’s low prices on crutches and other supplies. I didn’t care and had not asked for supplies to purchase. I was told there would be no pain until 10 hours post op. I woke up in pain and was given pain pills. I was offered saltiness, although my chart indicates that I can’t consume gluten. The staff seemed in a hurry to release me. The nurse pushed me outside in the snowy weather before the car had pulled up. We called twice on Friday for more pain meds. No response. It’s Sunday night and still no response. We’ll try calling again tomorrow. The pain meds ran out Saturday morning. A relative had some leftover Oxycontin that I’ve taken in the middle of the night when OTCs won’t cut the pain. Better pain mgmt nee

Dr. Chi is great! He did such an excellent job with my foot surgery I had less pain right away after surgery than before. Caring, attentive and skilled physician for sure.

Wonderful experience for my knee surgery! Dr Chi is patient, listens well and seems to be passionate about his work. I spoke to two other surgeons before finding Dr Chi - his inclusive approach to partnering with me made all the difference.
