Dr. Bills grew up in Trenton, New Jersey. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Syracuse University in New York. He then moved to Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to complete a PhD in pharmacology and a Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College, now the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia.
He received advanced training in pediatric orthopaedics at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia; Trauma at Robert Wood Johnson Trauma Center in New Jersey; Joint Replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery; Osteoporosis at Cornell Medical School; and Bone Tumor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, New York.
Dr. Bills is an active staff member of Capital Health Systems and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and an active attending staff at Lawrence Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceville. He is an associate staff member at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. He serves on the research staff as a visiting scientist at The Hospital for Special Surgery in the Department of Orthopaedic Research at Cornell Medical School in New York City, New York.
