Dr. Bienz has been with Premier Bone & Joint Centers since 1999. After receiving his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. He then went on to complete a hand surgery fellowship from the Philadelphia Hand Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
When not seeing patients or teaching, Dr. Bienz enjoys aviation, cycling, skiing, and riding horses.
Dr. Bienz is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.

Excellent doctor and staff. I would not go anywhere else.
Absolutely wonderful person to deal with when having surgery. Dr. Bienz has a great bedside manner and is always knowledgeable and informative about what he’s doing before and while he’s doing it. Have had three fairly minor surgeries completed by him and no complaints with any.
Very good. I liked how he explained things and he was to the point. I would go back to awe him.
Excellent Doctor who takes the time to explain things and answer questions. He is a fantastic surgeon and caring provider.
Dr. Bienz spent a good amount of time showing and explaining my x-ray. He asked if I had any questions and had time to converse. I felt like I was in good hands and now on the way to healing.
