Dr. Bienz has been with Premier Bone & Joint Centers since 1999. After receiving his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. He then went on to complete a hand surgery fellowship from the Philadelphia Hand Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
When not seeing patients or teaching, Dr. Bienz enjoys aviation, cycling, skiing, and riding horses.
Dr. Bienz is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.

Dr. Bienz is very personable, knowledgeable, professional and made me feel heard about my hand. He, his surgical team and staff in prep area work seamlessly together. I appreciate Dr. Bienz explaining the process before and after surgery. My scarring is very minimal and I am almost out of pain. I appreciate Dr. Bienz bringing his wonderful dog, Finley, to appointments. Makes me smile and relax. I understand Dr. Bienz is a traveling doctor and for that, I am thankful.
