I have never met a finer, more talented and professional doctor and staff than Dr Anderson at SsI. If you need spine help, that is definitely the best place to go!

This office is always so Prompt! Get called in on time, get x-ray, Get seen, out in 20 minutes. The staff work. Together so well, everybody does their job, and does it well. No hassle. Couple that with the doctors and PAs and Nurse Practitioners all being so knowledgeable and kind. You can't beat Southeastern Spine institute!

This has nothing to do with the Dr. We we’re waiting to see the Dr. People were coming and going long after we were there. So my wife got up and went to talk with the staff in sitting area. After sitting there watching people come and go. Amazing we were next. Then they ask if you had MRI. We told the first person we talked with when we walked in yes Now we’re telling another person yes we had the MRI. Finally get back to the Dr. Now they figure it out he wants X-rays. no big deal. it’s in the office area. Should have been done before i went to see Dr. Here’s the good part. While i was back doing my thing. There were patience standing in the waiting room for 45 minutes with no one to assist them. So after a couple complaints they find them and they both come out together. What they were doing was presumably went to lunch together and left the office up front to get patience checked in. Extremely unprofessional for a office of that size. 🇺🇸

Excellent staff conducted x-rays. Almost too many staff mbrs. assisted but if that’s normal ok. Diagnosis was Spondylithesis. Right away doctor says operate! No suggestions for physical therapy, massage, exercises to strengthen core- nothing! Had me in tears out in my car. Felt so pitiful and helpless. I couldn’t believe how terse and unsympathetic he was. Didn’t go back. Went to Francis St. Roper for a second opinion. Physical therapy helps a great deal. Will tough it out until I can’t stand the pain and I find the right doctor to perform the best remedy for me. But Southeastern Spine- forget it!

I was to be set up an appointment for injections in my back not the epidural. I have never been contacted no call, never was my insurance contacted for authorization. Please note this does not reflect on Dr. Anderson. He deserves a 5 Star but who ever was to set all this up dropped the ball. I was referred there by my best friend. Obviously I didn't get the same treatment and would not go back there.

He did a great job with my surgery and I was so thrilled with the result. He isn’t the friendliest, but he isn’t rude. He gets the job done well and that’s more important than being warm and fuzzy.

The Best of the Best!

It's obvious Dr. Anderson is an advanced expert Neurosurgeon and has a great team. Whaf seemed like complex issues like mine were just routine for him. Dr. Anderson has performed 3 x ACDF Surgeries on 4 levels of my cervical spine and all successful, and took away some years of excruiciating pain.

Dr Anderson said he would get the two disc 4 and 5 out when two others said they couldn’t, I was really worried and he told me not to be. He got them out and I’m very grateful to him. I have more to do down the road and will be going to him for everything.

Dr Anderson is the best surgeon I’ve ever had. He’s highly intelligent and compassionate to his patients. He knows his patients’s history and gives multiple options for pain relief. I’ve had multiple surgeries with him and they have been life-changing in my quality of life and pain relief. He has a great “bed-side” manner. I’ve travelled from Montana multiple times because i just don’t trust anyone else with what he can do for me. His team is excellent also from Elizabeth, Sarah, to Sloane. My only gripe is with SSI, none of the medical team, because they’ve made errors in billing resulting in my having to pay twice for the same procedure to enable me to get another surgery done. Their facilities are top notch and as clean as can be.

After previoius unsuccessful treatment by another spine specialist in Columbia, NOT ASSOCIATED WOITH YOUR PRACTICE, I scheduled an appointmen with Dr. Anderson. He was prompt, thorough, professional, friendly and he pointed out issues with my spine and hip thart had not previousdly been brought to my attention. Moreover, he scheduled two injections for me that were performed immediately and I was on my way back to Columbia. He also scheduled a telephone follow-up appointment for me so I would not have to drive back to Charleston. The day afer my visit, I feel better than I've felt in months. Dr. Anderson's professionalism, expertise and kindness have been a welcome relief and much appreciated. I give him my highest rating.

Dr.Anderson is a Outstanding Doctor, he explained the procedure that I needed and the fact it needed to be done at East Cooper Hosp. I normally would be a bit nervous at the fact of surgery of any type, but I've never had neck surgery this involved. He was fantastic and I had to be careful in my activities but I honestly thought it would be a horrible recovery. 6 weeks out and I'm doing very well. Any questions I may have, I make a call and someone from Dr Anderson's team immediately answers or calls within a few minutes if no one is available at the time of call. I truly appreciate how comfortable I am every time I have a appointment. I'm so thankful for South Eastern Spine Institute and Dr.Anderson and his team.

I would have appreciated knowing that I would not be seen by Dr. Anderson until my final post-op checkup. I have had visits with his Nurse Practitioner, two of his Physician Assistants and have had communications with his Medical Assistant; but was a little confused about not seeing my surgeon for four months.

Wonderful! I would recommend him to anyone with back issues!

Dr. Anderson met with me to explain the surgery he will perform on March 19. He was very clear and informed me of exactly what to expect and what he would do. Very impressed with his presentation. He restored my confidence that this surgery is necessary and I feel very confident that he can perform the surgery he has explained to me.

Dr Anderson provided pain relief, which I never imagined possible!

My first visit to Dr. Anderson, the nurse asked me what my pain level was. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst, I said my pain was a 9. After my surgery, at my three week follow up appointment my pain level was 0. This is the best I’ve felt in many years. I am so happy I went to Dr. Anderson! He is amazing! I HIGHLY recommend him!

He gave me my health back. I had been in pain for 2+ years. Previous surgery performed by a surgeon locally lasted 3 weeks. I visited my daughter and son at Thanksgiving and Christmas of 2016 . My daughter told me about SSI. I met with Dr. Anderson on February 14, 2017 and surgery was scheduled for March 2017. I was walking 2 days after the surgery and have been pain free for 21/2 years. I am thankful that I found SSI and Dr. Anderson.
