Dr. Tharesh Udupa is a board-certified foot and ankle specialist. In addition, he cares for patients in need of diabetic foot care, arthritic foot care, and wound healing.
Prior to joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Udupa cared for patients in the Surprise and Sun City areas for over ten years. He currently cares for patients at the Banner Boswell Wound Care Center in the Northwest Valley and Union Hills Surgery Center, treating complicated wounds in a structured environment with other wound care professionals.
Dr. Udupa completed residency training at the Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Michigan. He received a medical degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and underwent his pre-medical studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Dr. Udupa is a member of the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing (APWH), and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC).

Awesome attitude! Dr Udupa was very positive and encouraging and provided a several treatment options for my condition. I am more hopeful now after his evaluation.
Dr. Udupa was great! I would definitely refer him to anyone! The first thing he did was walk in with a smile. He took plenty of time with me and answered all of my questions. He even said my hip specialist is great, and took time for the knowledge he knew about him. You will love Dr. Udupa!
I really think Dr. could of done better. My husband waited 45 minutes waiting to see Dr. When Dr finally seen my husband it was a quick 5 minutes he spend with my husband before he sent my husband on his way home.
Realy listened to Mr and hopefully came up with a solution to my foot pain. Would have no issue seeing him again for any other foot issue. Thank you for being so understanding and listening to everything that I had to say.
