Dr. Terry Payne, M.D., a board-certified specialist by the American Board of Family Medicine, brings a wealth of experience from his previous tenure at White-Wilson from 1990 to 1999. He has now returned to the Family Medicine clinic in Fort Walton Beach, ready to serve the community once again. Dr. Payne specializes in annual wellness checks, preventive care, physicals, and the diagnosis and treatment of chronic illnesses. His areas of focus also include treating depression, ADHD, autism, and ongoing care for patients in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse.
Since childhood, Dr. Terry Payne has been driven by a profound passion to uplift and support those around him. His pursuit of medicine was driven by a desire to serve others in countless ways, ultimately leading him to specialize in Family Medicine. He is committed to forging connections with his patients, believing that cultivating trust and rapport allows him to understand and care for them more effectively.
Dr. Payne, who speaks Spanish fluently, spent his family medicine training in Paraguay, where he practiced medicine in Spanish. When not treating patients, Dr. Payne enjoys writing, shooting, and spending time with his son and wife.
