When she was just a child, Dr. Teresa Hong, M.D.’s younger brother was diagnosed with a variety of unique medical issues, sparking her desire to become a doctor in order to help him feel better. Throughout high school, Dr. Hong was very active with charitable organizations and visited orphanages, leprosy hospitals, and psych institutions. Through those visits, Dr. Hong understood how blessed she was and knew that practicing medicine was the avenue in which she could help others.
Dr. Hong enjoys spending time with her patients and educating them on how they can improve their health. To her, diagnosing diseases is very much like putting puzzle pieces together to see the bigger picture and be able to find a solution, something she finds both challenging and fun. She’s a firm believer that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Self-described as honest, supportive, and intuitive, Dr. Hong is very thorough in delivering primary care and coordinating for patients.
When Dr. Hong isn’t on the clock caring for her patients, she’s busy caring for her houseplants and rose garden. On top of having a green thumb, Hong likes playing the piano, baking, watching Netflix with her family, and sometimes watching a Green Bay Packers game.
