Dr. Khan is awesome!! She is very professional and wasted no time getting me in with a surgeon.
Dr. Khan spent sufficient time with me, but I didn’t feel like she was listening to my concerns. Ultimately, her message was that I’m fat (BMI ~33), and if I lose weight, my cardiac issues will resolve. While that may absolutely be true, she largely ignored my family history of early onset cardiac disease, and my very recent mini stroke symptoms and uncontrolled high blood pressure, even though I’m taking two separate medications for it. She ordered several tests, but they are scheduled over the next two months at two different locations. I live over an hour away, so this scheduling is wildly inconvenient. My level of concern for my health was incongruous with her level of urgency for figuring out what’s going on, and I felt like the whole appointment was a waste of time. I’m trying to be proactive about my health, and Dr. Khan’s approach seems to prefer reacting to catastrophe instead of working to prevent it.

Dr. Khan was incredibly pleasant, Dr. Khan listened carefully, explained everything in a way I could understand, and never made me feel rushed. The staff was also very pleasant.
At a recent hospitalization, the hospital misread some of my EKG’s telling me I had had a silent heart attack at some point and had additional serious heart rhythm problems. Dr. Khan got me in to see her within a day or two of me calling to come back in for her to review everything. She went above and beyond, looking at all of my EKGs at the hospital I had had frequent ER visits and hospitalizations at in the past 12 months, examined me, and assured me that my heart is perfectly fine. No heart disease whatsoever. It was such a relief to not only be given a quick appointment so quickly, but for Dr Khan to thoroughly review so many EKGs and bloodwork results of mine from being in the hospital frequently over the past year for unrelated conditions assuring me that my heart is working well with no problems needing treatment.
