This Doctor is amazing, and how lucky we are to have Steindler Clinic with an office in Cedar Rapids. Dr. Dennison replaced both of my husband’s hips and one of mine, and how happy and pain-free we both are. Taylor Dennison is the only doctor I would ever recommend 😊

Dr Dennison has been a great surgeon for my patellofemoral replacement. I have appreciated that he encourages me to do activity according to my own limitations and not restricting me unnecessarily. Dr. Dennison is so good my first POST OPERATIVE nights sleep following total knee was the bet sleep in a long time. Post op pain during recovery was AMAZINGLY well controlled!

I have had 3 knee scopes and numerous injections by several doctors all of which were mediocre compared to Dr Dennison. I have been suffering for years and he immediately looked at my xrays and gave me the recommendation for a total knee replacement even at my fairly young age which other doctors wouldn't do.

Dr Dennison was kind and took time to answer all my questions. Everyone was friendly in the office. Also there was no wait time ! Great place !

I am thankful that he takes time to answer my questions and also asks if I have any further questions. He explains things to my understanding.

If you need a hip replacement, Dr Dennison is the only doctor in the area you should even consider. He uses the anterior approach, which is more difficult for the surgeon but a much much faster and easier recovery for the patient. I was not happy with My post op visit. When I was 5 days post op (surg on Wed. Dec 30 so on Mon. Jan 4) I was going to be out of pain meds that Mon. evening so I called the office at 8AM and never got a refill for pain meds until Tuesday, Jan 5. The nurse told me he was in surgery and she had sent him two messages, she could not pull him out of surgery, I also called off. Mng. He said it was my fault since I did not give 24hr notice. It came up because I also needed to see / talk to him on Mon Jan 11, also not available and I would need more pain meds for Monday Jan 18 and did not want to be left without again. In my opinion to leave anyone without pain meds is not professional, keep in mind my surgery was right before New Years I had also called before needing a pain pill refill the first time explaining I was getting NO pain relief ! I would like to see anyone of the surgeons to have TKR and not have pain meds. What ever happened to the customer rights/services? Bedside manner...,

Would like Dr. Dennison to volunteer more information. I have felt the need to research on my own to be able to ask enough questions to get information. Most people are smart enough to understand a basic explanation of the surgery without having to go on YouTube as I did. Dr. Dennison is, I think, a good surgeon and my recovery is going well. 5 stars for apparent skills, 2 stars for relating to patients, I am happy overall.

Dr Dennison has done a wonderful job on my hip replacement! I like his straight forward attitude and approach. As a younger female who is active he is a perfect choice to help me get my active life back on track.

I forgot to ask to see my x-rays. It would help if that was just routine. Dr. Dennison did an outstanding job of answering questions!

Dr Dennison performed my right hip replacement and it healed wonderfully. Looking forward to being pain free after he performs my left hip replacement.

Dr Dennison was very kind and considerate with me. I lost my husband less than 3 months ago. He took his time and answered my questions about what to expect with my surgery.

He clarified the problem, thoroughly answered my questions, explained X-ray findings to my satisfaction .... Overall, the visit reflected efficiency and and expertise. Those who recorded meds and did assessments were equally polite and courteous.

Not a lot of explaining or looking at the X Ray. Just here is what I see and here is what you do. Normally I am good with that but I guess I was in a bit of shock.

After a year of other surgeons who wouldn't help me Dr. Dennison listened to me and thought of taking new x-rays since it had been a year. He discovered my hip was bone on bone that I needed surgery. Even two dr's from U of IA wouldn't help me!

I had never had surgery before and was nervous about what would happen. Dr. Dennison did an excellent job with my anterior hip replacement. I was able to walk the same day as my surgery and only needed ibuprofen for a few days. Very skilled surgeon.

He was very professional, courteous,and knowledgeable (very clinical). If he would have been just a tad bit 'warmer',the experience would have been perfect!
