Dr. Taylor A. Smith is a Louisiana native and received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas followed by a vascular and endovascular surgical fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Smith returned to Louisiana where he practiced 9 years before joining Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons in 2019.
He is board-certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI).
