Dr. Taylor A. Smith is a Louisiana native and received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas followed by a vascular and endovascular surgical fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Smith returned to Louisiana where he practiced 9 years before joining Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons in 2019.

Additionally, Dr. Smith has presented and published numerous manuscripts, book chapters, and posters in the field of vascular surgery.
