Tasso Pappas, M.D.

Dr. Tasso Pappas, M.D. joined Tareen Dermatology in August of 2024. A Board-Certified Dermatologist with over 20 years of experience, he specializes in acne, psoriasis, and eczema—conditions he researched early in his career. A South Dakota native, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Dakota and earned his medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine, where he was first in his class and an Alpha Omega Alpha member. After completing an internship at the Mayo Clinic, he finished his dermatology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

In his free time, Dr. Pappas enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, as well as pursuing interests in motorcycles, electronics, and finance. He has performed nearly 4,000 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions over the years.
