Dr. Tara Morrison, M.D., earned her medical degree at Wake Forest University – School of Medicine and completed her residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center- Houston, Texas, Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. She was board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in 2003. Dr. Morrison has a special interest in pediatric otolaryngology, as well as all aspects of head and neck diseases in adults, including allergy, sinusitis, thyroid disease, and sleep disorders.

Dr. Tara Morrison, M.D., completed her undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. She moved to North Carolina to attend the Wake Forest University School of Medicine for her medical degree.
She then went on to complete her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center- Houston in 2001. She was board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in 2003.
She was in private practice in the Heights area for 5 years after residency and joined Houston Ear, Nose, and Throat in February 2007 in the Katy area.
Dr. Morrison has a special interest in pediatric otolaryngology, as well as all aspects of head and neck diseases in adults, including allergy, sinusitis, thyroid disease, and sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea.
She performs a wide range of surgical procedures including adenotonsillectomy, placement of ear tubes, nasal and sinus surgery, thyroidectomy, parotidectomy and removal of benign neck masses.
Dr. Morrison also specializes in the Inspire Sleep Apnea Device implant procedure to treat obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Morrison is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology, the Houston Society of Otolaryngology, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
She is married to an anesthesiologist and has two adult children. In her free time she participates in Ironman triathlons and is learning to love golf.
She is looking forward to many years ahead practicing in the Katy area.
