Terrible bedside manner and treated me like an inconvenience. Not a good look for a new patient

I’m almost 30 years old and luckily have never experienced a ‘what and the’ moment with a doctor. Dr. Woods didn’t smile one time during our short interaction and she certainly wasn’t welcoming. 6 years ago I needed a cortisone shot in my hand from picking up my infant- fast forward today & I’m having the same symptoms from picking up my second child. She suggested a brace, cold/hot packs, physical therapy or taking medicine. I told her I needed relief since it’s been 2+ months, her response was “I just gave you several options.” I told her I wanted immediate relief & advised I had one shot in my hand 6 years ago & haven’t needed anything since, she then just stood up & said okay I’ll be back. I actually looked at her reviews while waiting because I was astonished. Fortunately, she came back with the cortisone shot & told me to find a cream that has an anti inflammatory in it. She was nice enough to tell me to come back in 6 weeks if there was no improvement.Rest of staff was friendly!

Don't bother filling out your medical history and when her staff asks you about your issue, just say blah blah blah. Tammy Woods doesn't care. I'm not a big baby. Dr Woods was very knowledgeable about my problem. She was caring and friendly. Glad I saw her, She gave me ideas to help with the arthritis on my hands
