Tammam Obeid, MD

Specializing in vascular disease, Dr. Tammam Obeid, M.D., treats conditions all throughout the body, ranging from critical limb ischemia to varicose veins to mesenteric ischemia. He utilizes state-of-the-art minimally invasive and classical techniques, including angioplasty, stenting, laser atherectomy, and open bypass surgery. From saving limbs from amputation to giving relief from chronic pain and swelling, his full spectrum of treatments enables patients to return to their normal lives and enjoy everyday activities.

Dr. Obeid graduated from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain, then attended the University of Texas Medical Branch for a combined Vascular Surgery Residency and Fellowship. Following a prestigious post-doctoral fellowship at John Hopkins, Dr. Obeid returned to Texas to join StrideCare’s top-rated practice. Dr. Obeid is board-eligible in vascular surgery and is a candidate for the Society of Vascular Surgery. He is a member of the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society. He has also been published and cited in numerous publications and presentations.

In his free time, Dr. Obeid loves outdoor activities, traveling, and cooking, especially Mediterranean recipes. When relaxing, he enjoys charcoal sketching and playing the guitar. Chess is another favorite hobby. Dr. Obeid is an advocate for chess and follows American and international chess players.
