Dr. Talha M. Qureshi, M.D. joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates in 2022. He graduated with highest honors in Biochemistry from his undergraduate studies at Illinois Institute of Technology. Dr. Qureshi is well trained in a broad discipline of gastroenterology. Dr. Qureshi is board certified in Gastroenterology and has special interests in esophageal diseases, anorectal disorders including hemorrhoid treatment, and colorectal cancer prevention.
During his training, he published numerous studies in peer reviewed journals and presented at multiple national meetings. He continues to be dedicated towards improving patient care and educating all his patients. As a gastroenterology fellow, he received distinguished national awards including the Golden Scope award from ASGE and EndoTitan award from ACG. He was also selected in the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his compassionate care towards his patients. Dr. Qureshi is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.
Dr. Qureshi is an active member of the medical staff at UW Health Rockford Hospital and OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.
I was asleep most of the time but for the moments I was awake Dr. Qureshi was great.
