I rarely leave reviews, but this feels important.
I brought my preteen daughter in simply to update asthma medications, request a nebulizer refill, and get an allergist referral. Once Sydney learned my daughter is homeschooled and unvaccinated, the tone shifted. Regardless of personal opinions, those are family decisions and should be treated respectfully.
When discussing socialization, Sydney responded to my daughter’s honesty about struggling socially with repeated comments of “How sad. You have no friends.” The delivery felt dismissive and discouraging toward a child already working through anxiety.
A conversation about recently beginning menstruation was also handled with noticeable negativity rather than empowerment, which was disappointing.
Additionally, she refused to refill a previously prescribed nebulizer medication we rely on for flare-ups.
The visit felt judgmental rather than collaborative. I cannot recommend based on this experience.
