Dr. Swaroop Vitta, M.D. graduated magna cum laude from Birmingham Southern College with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He received his MD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Everything was great. Very cerung, friendly, and helpful staff. I have one question though. This was a follow up appointment from a scope/colonoscopy procedure. They found ulcers and did a biopsy. So I had to return after the biopsy. Why was I charged $25.00 for a f/u? I would like to rate them 5*****
