Dr. Suzanne Hyun, M.D., is an anesthesiologist who specializes in multi-modal pain management.
She joined University Pain Consultants in 2018, where she evaluates, diagnoses, and treats all types of pain conditions. Dr. Hyun is a strong proponent for the multidisciplinary approach to pain and works to improve the quality of life of her patients. She performs a variety of procedures to treat chronic pain, including neuromodulation and Botox for migraines.
Dr. Hyun strives to stay up to date with current treatment options available for patients living with chronic pain.
She completed her training in anesthesiology and interventional pain management at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where she was selected to be chief resident. Dr. Hyun earned her medical and doctorate degree from the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Hyun has many academic interests and has been published in prestigious journals such as Cell and Journal of Vascular Surgery.
Outside of work, she is an accomplished violinist who has performed at Carnegie Hall and enjoys hiking and traveling.
