I was incredibly disappointed with the care that received during my child’s wellness checkup-up. Dr. Nash was the only provider available (not their primary provider) that wasn’t a one month+ wait for an appointment. I understand checking to see where they are at development wise, but Dr. Nash was speaking in a way that was a bit advanced for my child to understand. So when the Dr was trying to ask my child if ‘somebody asks you to go get a present from a car, do you go with them’, I explained to my child ‘a stranger’ (since they learn stranger danger from basically everywhere including school, so they understand that) Dr. Nash basically scolded me on why I shouldn’t explain it that way and proceeded to harp on that for the next 5 minutes. I also noted that my child has had a dry patch/rash right under their nose and next to the mouth that hasn’t gone away and she said it was ‘something’ dermatitis’ but offered no resolve to that except to try vaginal cream (what?). Not a great visit.
