Dr. Richman, a native New Yorker, graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and did her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Besides private practice experience, she has volunteered in the Indian Health Service in New Mexico, and medical mission work in Ecuador. She completed a Masters in Public Health thru Yale University, while heading the newly created Family Planning Division at Yale School of Medicine.
She was voted one of the Best Doctors of the Greater New York Metropolitan area in 2006, and has received numerous teaching awards. She was named a national Best Doctor in 2018. She practices gynecology, with an emphasis on chronic pain disorders, sexuality, menopause, and contraception, and has published on those topics in peer reviewed journals.
Her outside interests include sailing, kayaking, cycling, and hiking.

Dr Richman is smart, professional, thorough and also very funny. She deserves an excellent rating.
Although I have been a patient at this practice for a long time, this was my first time meeting Dr. Richman. My daughter has her and loves her and I have to say I love her too! She was so kind and chatty and nice! I was moaning and groaning about menopause and she was so understanding! She asked to see pictures of my grandson and just made a usually uncomfortable experience very pleasant. She was also very understanding about estrogen patches and estrogen friendly, which is a godsend. I actually made my next appointment with her because I liked her so much. I felt lucky to meet Dr. Richman.
