Dr. Richman, a native New Yorker, graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and did her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Besides private practice experience, she has volunteered in the Indian Health Service in New Mexico, and medical mission work in Ecuador. She completed a Masters in Public Health thru Yale University, while heading the newly created Family Planning Division at Yale School of Medicine.
She was voted one of the Best Doctors of the Greater New York Metropolitan area in 2006, and has received numerous teaching awards. She was named a national Best Doctor in 2018. She practices gynecology, with an emphasis on chronic pain disorders, sexuality, menopause, and contraception, and has published on those topics in peer reviewed journals.
Her outside interests include sailing, kayaking, cycling, and hiking.
