Dr Fromer very thorough with explaining things about cataracts and lenses. She is my surgeon and I’m ecstatic that I can see without glasses after 40 years. It’s only been a couple of weeks since my second surgery, so I’m still adjusting and am told over the next few weeks I will see better and better. I highly recommend Dr Susan Fromer.

Excellent Doctor and so very concerned with my wellness

She is very Professional and courteous

Facility is run very well. Wait time very acceptable. A few minutes extra wait but was advised up front and that’s all it was. Would have preferred the entire exam by Dr Frome ( she seems great) since I intend to get surgery. But the next Dr I saw was very thorough and gave me confidence to make this decision. I recommend this office. All staff were kind, considerate and professional and made me feel at ease.

Dr. Fromer and her entire staff made for a very seamless, professional, and informative visit. Time was spent and questions were answered in a very satisfactory manner. Thank you for providing excellent medical care and treatment that other practices should learn from. Shawn was especially helpful and professional, as well.

Dr. Fromer is a bit of a bully, I.e., she told me “You WILL remove your hat” instead of “can you,” or “please remove” it. She further told me not to drive a car, even though I’d told her that I don’t drive (although I drove for over 2 decades with more vision impairment than I have now). Her manner was “commanding” rather than “inclusive” or “partnering,” and showed lousy customer service skill. She also decided, without asking for my input, to return me to Fromer Harlem when I specifically asked for the Manhattan office because I’d seen Dr. Shields there before she left Fromer and I was not happy with Luna Xi’s care (which is similar to Susan’s). I’ve been with Fromer many years. I will now seek another ophalmologist.

She's an amazing doctor. I've always had blurry vision in my right eye. I was diagnosed with pathological myopia. The retina was extremely deformed. I couldn't see a thing. I had surgery on 1/11/23 to remove a cataract in my right eye and Dr. Former told me that she would do something to help improve the vision in the eye. She restored some vision in my right eye. I didn't even think it was possible. I'm very grateful to Dr. Former for improving my quality of life.

EEXCELENT ATENTION

I loved the doctor’s attitude, demeanor and concern for me. I was pleasantly surprised with respect to my visit especially since a staff member was not professional when I telephoned the office and myself being a new patient was not sure of the outcome of my visit would be. After my visit with Dr. Fromer and a Doctor I saw prior, not only did I recommend her to my mommy but I am looking forward to my visit next year.

I was so happy to have been treated by Dr.Fromer. She was so knowledgeable and kind. The entire staff of technicians and receptionists were exceptional. I was there to investigate some problem number I didn’t quite understand when I entered the office. Dr. Fromer and her staff explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. although i only see her once a year she's a wonderful doctor, very pleasant and attentive, you rock thnx for doing what you do.

very good, but despairs when you have to translate what they say

You wait a hole month for an appointment on a specific time, when the day comes the makes you wait for hours to attend you, you respect them time but they don’t respect yours. But not that only.. I went to fix my lens receipt and they make other exams on me without notifying me that made can’t check me for what I visited them because the dilated my eyes so at the end I waste my time, my payment for that ours out of my work and up to that I have to pay them for not helping me at all.

I love her professionalism, while at the same time she is empathetic. Her voice erase s my fears. I have seen her just twice., but have gotten alot of education from her on how to better manage my eyes. I truly appreciate her, I believe others do also.
