One star for the following: staying on schedule for appointments (multiple times where I have had to wait over an hour past my scheduled appointment-and no consideration or apology), lack of notification of procedure prep (if support needed, no bathing for multiple days, no leaving your home, etc), and lack of notification of significant cost(s) for procedure(s). Dr. Thiru is a very knowledgeable physician and I am glad that she is being thorough with my care.

My husband and I found Dr T to be very professional and helpful with my husband and I looking into early detection of dementia for both of us. However, I was disappointed that she did not interview us separately so that we could speak more freely about our observations about each other as well as together.

In addition to performing neuro-diagnostic procedures, such as EMG & nerve conduction studies and skin biopsy, she also injects Botulinum toxin for chronic migraine headaches, spasticity, dystonia and blepharospasms. Her clinical prowess includes interpreting EEG’s and sleep studies, performing trigger point injections occipital nerve blocks and lumbar puncture.
