Dr. Sunil Dedhia, M.D., FAAOS, utilizes advanced techniques in arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery to treat disorders of the shoulder, knee, elbow, wrist, hand, foot and ankle. His goals include prompt diagnosis and appropriate conservative non-operative care. Patient education and involvement at all levels of care are emphasized. Dr. Dedhia has served as a team physician for the Houston Astros Major League Baseball team, Houston Texans NFL team, and the Division I University of Houston Cougars. During his training at Northwestern, Dr. Dedhia assisted physicians who cared for the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.
Dr. Dedhia has authored numerous Orthopedic articles both locally and in peer reviewed journals. He has also given many seminars locally as well as at national meetings on disorders of the shoulder and knee. Dr. Dedhia cares for patients of all ages ranging from adolescents to those in need of joint replacement. He is also well versed in the care of the injured worker and workman’s compensation.
