Dr. Chandrasekaran graduated magna cum laude from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She then completed her medical degree at New Jersey Medical School, where she was honored with the AOA Research Achievement Award. Following medical school, Dr. Chandrasekaran completed a transitional year at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ, before pursuing her ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. This experience exposed her and trained her to manage a wide range of complex pathology and surgical challenges.

I just met Dr. Chandrasekaran today, and was fantastic, she was professional, patient, and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. I'm happy that she helped me with my visit(as well as everyone that tended to me at the facility!).
