Subbarao Gorti, MD

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Subbarao Gorti, M.D., values the opportunity to practice preventative care and to have a positive effect on patients’ lives. For more than 25 years, he has provided direct patient care to a diverse population with complex medical conditions.

Dr. Gorti develops comprehensive health histories and performs physical examinations of patients in all age groups. He incorporates his findings into personalized health management plans, engaging with patients to help them understand their health status and achieve their goals.

Dr. Gorti was raised in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland and went on to receive his medical training at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, in Karnataka, India. Back in the United States, Dr. Gorti completed an internship in family medicine at Northeastern Hospital in Philadelphia. He spent his residency at the Medical Center of Delaware (now Christiana Hospital) in Wilmington. He has worked as a family physician in Philadelphia since 1992.
