Dr. Steven Tooze was born in Rochester, N.Y and was raised in Erie, PA. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA in 1973 and subsequently his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed in five-year residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. This included a six-month rotation of chief resident at the Rothman Institute

Sorry to hear he’s retiring. He was the best doctor the only doctor I had graduations to him best wishes on his retirement.
He has been my orthopedic doctor since I was 17years old. Today was my last appointment with him as he is retiring. He is the best doctor and I’m really going to miss him.

Always professional yet kind. Dr. Tooze never rushes patients out. He cares My family has been patients of Dr. Tooze for over 30 years. Couldn’t have asked for a better ortho surgeon…broken fingers, dislocated shoulder, 5 knee surgeries and saving my husband’s life from a bone infection. Dr. Tooze will be missed.
He's the best doctor ever I'm going to miss him when we tires and I know everybody else will too enjoy your retirement
Dr Tooze provides the best orthopedic treatment. He performed successful replacement on both hips one in 2018 and 2019. His follow up care has been amazing. This 77 yr old has no problems and grateful every day for his expertise. God bless Dr Steven Tooze.
