Dr. Steven Wahlmeier, MD was born and raised outside Hastings, Nebraska. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Dr. Wahlmeier is married and has three children. He stays busy with school and kids’ activities but enjoys golfing and other outdoor activities in his free time. He is looking forward to being back in Nebraska near out friends and extended family as well as being able to serve the communities they grew up in.

Dr. Wahlmeier is friendly and very professional. After reviewing all the information he had regarding my health issues, he calmly asked. "Are you ready for surgery?" We proceeded with some questions I then had. I feel very comfortable and confident that surgery is the best choice for me.

He’s one of a kind! He listens to you, shows you any pictures they take, MRI and X-rays and explains them to you and he’s very friendly and nice!

Listened to me and was concerned for me. I was a nervous wreck and Dr. W put my mind somewhat at ease. He explained everything that would be done to me in surgery and beyond; both positive and negative.
Explained everything thoroughly and answered all questions.
