Steven Leckie, M.D.

I reported back in February to Taylor Sprague that I was still experiencing issues with my hip. Last week I was charged for a follow up visit with Dr. Lekie. I felt I was misled into saying that I was 50 percent better. My recent laminectomy was supposed to correct this issue@ 100 percent. I’ve experienced recurring pain and lock up of the hip for the last four days. I’m a service technician as well as a doctor is.. If you had two flat tires and the mechanic fixed one, would you wait for the other to heal itself?

Dr. Leckie is a brilliant surgeon who is professional but also kind and personable... I am very confident in his excellent care... FIVE STARS

Dr Leckie is very thorough at explaining what my problem was and how he was going to address it. He fixed my issue Called me into his office, took several x-rays to make sure all was in place, then explained all that he had done to fix the issue. I will see him I 3-4 weeks to check again to make sure nothing has shifted.. He also gives another RX for as much PT is needed to get back to where I need to be! I am very happy with Dr Leckie.

He was pleasant and professional but I don’t think he acknowledged my specific pain and possible alternatives to back surgery that was not indicated. I would have liked to know what he recommends with patients that have chronic sacroiliitis.
