I went through a different ENT in KC last year for most of the year with multiple sinus infections that led to CT scans and after six months of working with them was told I for sure needed to have sinus surgery since the antibiotics weren’t actually clearing my sinus pathway up. Was told I would have surgery with the doctor I had never met and I did not like that idea so I started looking for a different ENT. my husband had two people he works with have surgery with Dr. Ellis before and we had a family friend suggest Dr. Ellis for sinus surgery for one of the best in Kansas City. He’s a fellow doctor himself and having sinus surgery with Dr. Ellis was one of the best things I ever did for myself. I wish I had done it sooner and I would do it all again tomorrow because it literally changed my life. I had no ideahow difficult it was for me to breathe until my sinuses became clear. Not only is he a great doctor with what he does he is a great guy and he seems to truly care about his patie

I would like to lodge a complaint about how patients are verified upon entry to examining rooms. As I understand it, another patient was mistakenly treated, just prior to me, and prescribed medications as if it were me. If this was not bad enough, the scripts were never cancelled and were still waiting for pickup one week later. I had to contact the pharmacy (in Mound City) to cancel the order. The doctor was great. The office procedures however need to be modified to confirm which patients are being treated and prescribed medications.
