I went in for a consultation for knee replacement surgery after waiting 10 days for an appointment. My appointment was at 8:45. I finally got into the consultation room at 9:35. The Nurse came and in and went over the basics then said the Dr will be in shortly as she left. Finally at 10:01 there was a knock and Practitioner entered. She was very kind and attentive however I was confused as to what was actually happening. She proceed to tell me that Dr. Copeland does not do knee replacement surgery. (I was referred by my MD). I was politely dismissed and given another Dr appointment in 10 more days. I politely went on my way. As it slowly started sinking in I was disappointed then angry. What the heck!!!?? What was the point??! I was quite disappointed that Dr. Copeland couldn't even introduce himself or speak with me. .....And I got charged for my waste of time! Ugghhhh! What was the point???
