Dr. Steven J. Class, MD, FACC, has been practicing cardiology in Bradenton and Sarasota since 2000. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology at Vanderbilt University prior to obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Florida in 1993. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia, in 1996. He completed a three-year Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease followed by a 1 year Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Disease at the Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois, in 2000.
Dr. Class practices general consultative cardiology with emphasis on the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and congestive heart failure.
