I have had several appointments with Dr Class and this is the first time I had a conversation and talked about issues. I was surprised however, that they did not do an EKG and some sort of exam by checking my heart, etc. My BP was quite high but went down after I had been sitting for awhile. He suggested I check my BP and do a daily recording and return in 6 months for a follow up.
He went over my lab work and indicated it looked ok.

Dr. Steven J. Class, MD, FACC, has been practicing cardiology in Bradenton and Sarasota since 2000. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology at Vanderbilt University prior to obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Florida in 1993. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia, in 1996. He completed a three-year Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease followed by a 1 year Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Disease at the Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois, in 2000.
Dr. Class practices general consultative cardiology with emphasis on the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and congestive heart failure.
He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.
