Steven Anthony, DO

Just met Dr Anthony today. He did emergency hip surgery on me after a bad fall. I found him to be friendly, caring and encouraging. Would definitely recommend him. His staff was friendly especially his nurse, whose name I unfortunately can't recall, was super kind, professional and gentle when doing my xray. Thank you!!

Dr. Anthony is personable, knowledgeable and professional. For this appointment he walked in the room fully prepared to treat me. He knew my case and articulated my status and next steps. It sounds crazy, but, this was so refreshing and the first time in a long time and with several different doctors that I didnt have to go through my whole history or correct their wrong recollection of why I was there. Dr. Anthony makes you feel valued.

I wish I knew what was causing some of the issues I know that you have during the fluid of the blood clot, but the knee and half and have the steroid shot, it’s the skin starting to break up and needs care which is helping but do you want to say your professionalism in the care that you give my father and the veterans is so pleasing that you care and you have such professionalism thank you

I really trust the Dr’s opinion and what my problem is and what might have to be done.

I am really upset! Dr Anthony failed to be cleared with me! He was in and out of room in 2-3 mins. All he stated “ I see you in 4 weeks” while he was exiting room! I question the nurse and one nurse stated to me “ he hasn’t written anything so, you must be out of work until then. A few days later I text work to see if HR received paperwork from Drs office since I didn’t get any thing from Drs office! Not knowing any restrictions, or if I was to stay off my foot. I then receive an email from workersman Comp with the Drs paperwork and that I was suppose to return to work, with sitting only restriction! I haven’t driven since surgery and still had some pain when saw him on 10/3/23. I called office today , left message on clinical message phone and no one responded back to me, when the message on phone stated someone will get back to you at the end of the day. Im not saying he’s a bad Dr, but want him to remember I am the patient and the best interest should be for the patient!! Ty

Dr. Anthony is a terrific surgeon! Three months after my hip surgery (to repair a badly torn tendon), I feel better than ever & I'm so happy that I went ahead with my surgery. Dr. Anthony is a friendly & patient doctor, explaining everything in detail & making sure that I understood his rationale for surgery. I'm appreciative of his surgical skills & have recommended him very highly.

I had apologized because of the crappie pay our insurance gives to the doctor and hospital, I thought it was because our government doesn't do so well at taking care of our vets, that if I was an illegal immigrant or someone in jail they would pay better. Dr. Anthony said no they all are like that, some pay more than others but all are charged the same on the service they get. Dr Anthony and his staff are a great group of people. I appreciate the care they give.

Dr was very good. However, my appointment was at 840. I didn't see the dr until 946. Totally unacceptable wait

I needed tendon transfer surgery for a torn Achilles that had been damaged over a long period of time before the rupture. Dr. Anthony quickly and confidently diagnosed the issues and surgery required. Also shaved down a haglands heel deformity as part of the surgery. 4 months later and I’m back at 85% working toward 95% in a few more months. Success! And he takes a little more time to explain things than most orthopedic docs. That’s a plus.
