Impersonal and did little to ease worries. Asked very few questions and provided solutions that did not seem holistic.

He doesn’t explain anything to me as in the major surgery he was going to do. He didn’t brief me on nothing. I wou not go back to him for after care. I have problems with my knee and he said it was normal and it wasn’t. In so much pain behind him.

I tore my quad tendon and had it surgically repaired by Doctor Nicholas back in April. Words cannot explain how satisfied I am with how the surgery went, but the entire experience from April to today(August 8th)which was one of professionalism, compassion, and giving confidence that everything was going to be all right. His office was in touch with me throughout these 4 months always answering any questions I had. I was very fortunate to have one of the best, if not the best orthopedic surgeons in the tri - state area operate on me. I highly recommend anyone who needs to be operated on by an orthopedic surgeon to definitely go to Dr Stephen Nicholas.

Only issue is it is impossible to reach office by phone. I had to drop in to make an appointment after trying on line.

See. Nicholas lacks patience. His bedside manner is poor. He told me “your knee is shot-you need a replacement without going over the X-rays. He gave no physical exam.

Dr. Nicholas always really listens to me and offers solid advice and guidance. One of the admins I spoke with on the phone really understood the pain I was in and was able to get me a same-day appt. It was great.

After being broadside by a bus I had significant injuries that three other orthopedic Dr's dismissed as " being banged around" The other Dr's refused to order MRI's or any testing. Dr. Nicholas ordered an MRI immediately at my first visit and took x-rays of my injured body parts. I had been suffering with a torn rotator cuff as well as a bicep tendon tear . Dr Nicholas operated two weeks later and repaired all the damage to my shoulder. The secondary MRI showed a torn ACL , torn meniscus as well as several other tears. Ill be having Dr Nicholas repair my knee within a week. If I hadn't gone to Dr. Nicholas I never would've gotten the much needed testing or surgeries to get back what I lost in the accident. I wouldn't consider seeing another orthopedic Dr other than Dr. Nicholas.

Dr. Nicholas always takes the time to listen to my concerns and advises me in a way that is easy to understand. He has treated me for a number of issues and I have always been very happy with the results.
