I was seen right on time- Dr Marcaccio was easy, intelligent and explained my MRI and condition clearly. He took his time and allowed me to voice questions and concerns. He had reviewed my recent medical complexities and was aware that they be considered as we move forward with the surgery.

Before completing the orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Marcaccio received the majority of his medical education and training at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in his home state of Rhode Island, earning his medical degree, and completing both his residency in orthopaedic surgery and a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma there.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Marcaccio is the assistant team physician for Brown University Athletics and team physician for the school’s men’s and women’s hockey teams. He also serves as head team physician for East Greenwich High School Athletics. Dr. Marcaccio recently moved to North Kingstown, where he lives with his wife and son.
