Dr. Stephen M. Settle is a native Texan originally from Wellington. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his general surgery internship and residency at St. Paul Medical Center/SWMS in Dallas. He completed his vascular surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has practiced in Austin since 1992.
Dr. Settle is board-certified in general and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He specializes in all areas of endovascular and vascular surgery.
He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgeons, Texas Surgical Society, Texas Medical Association, and Travis County Medical Society. Dr. Settle has authored various articles and publications in his specialty.
