He was raised in the Chicagoland area and earned his bachelor of science in Biology from Elmhurst College. He received his doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Hurley is a general urologist trained in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He has a special interest in stone disease, male and female incontinence, prostate enlargement, prostate cancer, and bladder cancer.
Dr. Hurley believes that teaching his patients about their disease process is a core tenant to the patient-physician relationship, so he ensures that patients leave his office with an improved understanding of their urological issues. He believes that a patient who is well-educated about their medical problems is better equipped to make shared decisions regarding their urologic care.
