I was recently seen for numbness in my arm & hand. I chose Dr. Blackstock since he did my shoulder surgery 15 years ago & he did amazing! The reason I only gave 4 stars is because my visit was very rushed. He was in there about 3-4 minutes to tell me I needed carpal tunnel surgery. I feel like he could’ve gave me some advice on things I can do to help relieve it until I can get the surgery. I had a $60 co pay to see him about hand/arm numbness & another $60 copay to get the results of my tests so I feel like I should’ve had a few more minutes for advice on helping until surgery. I have a $500 copay for the surgery which will take some time for me to come up with so I’m the meantime I’m just winging it even though I’ve 2 visits with him. I do think he is a great doctor I just wished he would’ve spent a few minutes giving me some advice on things that could help.

Dr. Blackstock genuinely cares for his patient's. He reminds me of an old timey doctor that is here to help others and not to line his pockets.

Appears knowledgeable and friendly enough, but it’s hard to gauge on a 2 minute face to face before dashing out of consultation. Quickest $90 spend outside of Vegas.
