He let me know surgery was not needed at this time, but my condition will worsen if I don't become disciplined with a life long strengthening plan.

Worst experience waiting on hours on end to see them for a whole 5 maybe 10 min max. Then get told they are handling things do to me not being able to work and they keep dropping it. Excuse after excuse with this office

Dr Lavoie, is amazing surgeon. He removed cyst that was growing near my spinal corners, my lower back. The cyst was was being like a cushion spongelike which between the two bones having degenerative disc disease, so Dr. Lavoie not only remove my cyst and also ended up hitting four screws in my back and such an amazing job that I was up and walking an hour after surgery and out of the hospital. The very next morning my recovery period was wonderful. Everything went smooth. He has a wonderful bedside manner. Very nice very knowledgeable, and again an amazing surgeon. Unfortunately I have to have another surgery in my neck. However, I am not concerned about Dr. Lavoie doing the procedure. Thank you Dr. Lavoie and of course your amazing staff and Paula your scheduler.

Why is it so difficult for a patient to have peace of mind? Why is it that if I request an MRI to make sure that I’m okay I get an answer saying that “my insurance won’t pay for it?” And to that I reply saying that I don’t care because I will pay for it because I just want to have peace of mind, then I get an answer saying well, “you don’t need it and MRI” Why?! This is infuriating. I’m the patient and I know my pain better than anyone. I want to have 100% certainty that I’m okay. I feel the pain. I just want to make sure that there’s isn’t any else that x-rays can’t see. Why make it so difficult for me to get the referral? Why so in humane? I just don’t get it.

Doctor was very dismissive and failed to go over my issues in detail. When he was done he and his assistant said have a good day and walked away. I waited for them to let me know I was finished and had to flag down someone to ask if I was done and what to do next. A prescription was to be called in and it still hasn't reached the pharmacy over a week later.

Dr. Lavoie was very kind but he seemed to be in a big hurry to get to the next patient. Once he heard about my accident, which injured my back and had not been properly diagnosed, he gave me his recommendations and was ready to leave. I had three questions to ask him regarding treatment and prognosis. He stood up and answered the last one on his way out the door. I think he spent about 12 minutes with me. Perhaps that is the normal time allotted each patient but was not the case when I have been there originally.

I did not like that Dr Lavoie summarized my MRI and did not review it with me and he only stated I didn't need surgery that was it. You did not give me the courtesy to show me the view of my spine and go over my MRI with me nor did you discuss anything in the report and nothing about how severe my bulging disc is at this point. You only told me some alternatives that were temporary care that addressed my pain which I have already done with no change. I would like to go over and view my MRI report with another doctor.

He was polite. They assume that you’re there to talk about surgery. I went there based on the MRI findings. He stated the radiologist was incorrect. I don’t care for that because I don’t think another doctor saying he was incorrect would sit well with him. Why do you orthopedic surgeons always leave the option for me to go to physical therapy? They either want me to go because it will be beneficial or it’s not going to help me. I wanted to ask a couple of questions but he was done With me. The nurse didn’t tell me that I could leave I had to ask her if I could leave.

Dr. Lavoie performed microdiscectomy surgery on August 13th, after I suffered for months with horrible pain, despite conservative treatment and therapy. 13 days later, I feel remarkable and my pain is minimal. Dr Labour and his team presented me with a surgical plan that has been nothing short of remarkable. While I still am in the recovery phase, I know that I am on my way to healing. I would highly recommend Dr. Lavoie and can't thank him enough!

This was my first time at this place and with Dr Lavoie and i was so impressed and satisfied with the quality of service. Ive been agonizing with an excruciating lower back pain for the past 8 days that prevented me from walking, laying on my back... i went to Urgent Care and ER and nothing help. This doctor in 45 minutes including did xrays on me and finally gave me a diagnostic. 4 hours later after the meds the pain has improved 50%. Amazing doctor and facility!

I asked if my husband could come with me due to the fact that I have post concussion syndrome with comprehension and short term memory. They refused to let him come. Efficient

Over the last two years, Dr. Lavoie successfully treated two different issues I had with my back. He has my confidence.

He was very rushed, after I waited for an hour. Didn't go over the MRI or the xrays with me. I'm in bad pain, therapy in 5 days. Asked for pain pills, was told he doesn't do that, take ibuprofen. They don't help. I'm pretty desperate right

Seemed very dismissive about my issue, and being the last patient of the day, after I spent $50 he only gave me 5min of his time. I've been in pain for months and he (being a spine surgeon) gave no help to my situation. Will NEVER see him again!

This doctor shows no empathy at all, is dismissive and gives you literally 5 minutes of his time. Is not thorough in explaining things and in a hurry to leave the room. Very disappointing.

he was to fast to even listen to what i am saying..He is looking where i know is bad but thats always there but where i hurt now is different,but he keeps going back to the lumber area..it hurts but thats not what i went in for.i cant set for any .
