Dr. Srinivasa Sridhar, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with over four decades of practice in the Daytona Beach-Port Orange community. He specializes in shoulder, hip and knee joint replacements, as well as arthroscopic surgery of the shoulders and knees. As a general orthopaedic surgeon, he also treats a wide range of upper and lower extremity issues, including trigger finger releases, carpal tunnel releases, tendonitis, and arthritis.
Dr. Sridhar graduated medical school from the University of Bombay in 1971. He completed his surgical internship at Brookdale Hospital in New York, followed by an orthopaedic residency at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn.
Dr. Sridhar pioneered anterior hip replacements and reverse shoulder replacements in East Volusia County. For over 30 years, he took trauma calls at Halifax Health. More recently, he took trauma calls at Bon Secours St. Francis in Greenville, South Carolina, treating a multitude of elderly patients with fragility fractures and younger patients with low-velocity trauma.
Dr. Sridhar keeps up with the latest advancements by regularly attending seminars and conferences. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for traveling and visiting national parks.

I’ve was great - I just wish I had asked questions
He was kind and gentle and knew just what to do to make my splinted arm more comfortable. I so appreciated his kindness and now I’m home resting after the surgery.
Very personable and caring. I am thankful for the time he spends with me explaining things, answering questions , etc.
Appointment was made to set surgery date for Comminuted displaced clavicular fracture. The ER discharge xray and details were in there possession prior to appointment being made, and I expressed exactly what the appointment was being made for. Dr looked at x-ray from ER and said “yes you need surgery, book an appointment with associate Dr”. That would be Two weeks out, and he said “there’s no hurry”. Lol unprofessional at best, we’ll have to see if they bill Medicare for no billable services rendered.

I have seen Dr. Sridhar twice for a torn rotator cuff on both my right and left shoulders. He is very experienced. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He is very kind and understanding of what you’re going through. I highly recommend him. I wouldn’t go to anybody else for problems with my shoulders.
Quick in and out. Very professional and organized. Very thorough exam.
