Dr. Sreeharsha V. Nandyala, MD, joined Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2022. He is double fellowship-trained in pediatric and adult spine surgery. He specializes in non-surgical and surgical treatment of degenerative spinal disorders, scoliosis, and spinal trauma. Dr. Nandyala provides compassionate and evidence-based treatment modalities for children and adults with spinal disorders.
Dr. Nandyala was raised near Chicago, Illinois. He completed college and medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. During medical school, he developed a passion for spine surgery. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Nandyala completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency training at Harvard Medical School-Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program. He trained at world-renowned institutions and learned from orthopaedic surgeons at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital.
After graduating from residency, Dr. Nandyala completed a pediatric orthpaedic surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Boston Children’s Hospital, where he specialized in pediatric spinal disorders, including scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, and congenital spinal issues. During this time, Dr. Nandyala gained cutting-edge experience with robotic spine surgery. After completing his training at Boston Children’s Hospital, Dr. Nandyala completed an adult spine fellowship at the University of Utah, where he gained expertise in degenerative disorders of the neck and back, adult scoliosis, spinal trauma, herniated disc disease, sciatica, stenosis, radiculopathy, myelopathy, spinal infections, and spinal tumors.
Dr. Nandyala also completed a spine research fellowship at Rush University in Chicago and worked with world-renowned minimally invasive spine surgeons to develop and publish well-cited spine research, influential book chapters, and spine surgery textbooks. He received multiple research awards from global spinal research societies, including the North American Spine Society, Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and the Cervical Spine Research Society.
As a resident of Summerlin, Dr. Nandyala enjoys cooking, running and spending time with family.
