He has a busy schedule yet was fully present to me during our appointment and made me feel like the most important patient on his calendar during our appointment.

DR WHEELER is the BEST!! My Daughter worked as a PT Therapist and was elated when heard that I was being treated by DR Wheeler! I had a Transverse Fracture of the left Patella, with separation. DR Wheeler was consulted by the staff at Effingham ER and surgically repaired the knee a week later. I was then fitted with an inhibitor brace which regulated mobility and prevented undo pressure or bending of the Patella while mending over the course of the next 3+ months. I am now able to walk and bend my knee without the brace with very little discomfort. Dr. Wheeler is engaging, empathetic, and has a quick, humorous wit that that helps to keep serious injury situations on a positive track.

My PA Dan Acala was the same as always: attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough in explaining the results of my MRI, info on how to minimize my pain. He is the BEST💕😇😊💕

Best orthopedic surgeon I have ever used . He has done two tkr and shoulder surgery and all three have been the best experience anyone could have. His office and especially his PA’s are fantastic. Dr. Wheeler has the best bedside manor of any surgeon I have ever seen. He is our whole family orthopedic go too for any issues that may arise all of our family are sports oriented and avid professional outdoor enthusiasts so we use him frequently

Dr. Wheeler is a fantastic doctor. He operated on my left shoulder almost 10 years ago and now I’m having issues with my right shoulder. There is nobody else I would consider seeing.

Dr. Wheeler has done an excellent job for me. He has repaired both of my shoulders with injuries six years apart. I wouldn’t allow anyone else to perform shoulder surgery on me other than Dr. Wheeler. The most encouraging part is all of his staff is excellent and down to earth. I never felt rushed by Dr. Wheeler or his staff and all of my questions were answered.

I would have liked to have had an appt with the surgeon prior to deciding on the arthroscopic surgery.

The cortisone has been amazing I am still relatively pain free or maybe it's the celebrates that he prescribed either way something's working. My appt was with Dr. Wheeler but I never saw him. A woman saw me who I later found out was a Nurse Practitioner and I only found out because I asked her. She never introduced herself as such.
