Doctor was personable, caring, polite. He really seemed interested in trying to solve my problem.

Didn’t seem like the examination was all that thorough, but we have decent starting point I suppose. I’d prefer if my other medical conditions were more considered in the examination process, but, it was a first visit. As someone who sees a lot of doctors- it’s unimaginable how hard that job must be- he got all my background down and listened professionally. But I’m not 110% sure if he GOT (full-stop understood) my background and how it might have something to do with my poor digestion. Still a kind man who was polite and I think did the standard protocol. I guess we could or should start at basic and work our way up? However, I like knowing why we are ignoring other critical factors.

I especially like that Dr. Abou-Assi recommends lifestyle changes with medication as a backup for my acid reflux. And he monitors my progress (or lack of) with regular follow ups.
