In summer 2022, he joined the National Spine and Pain Centers network of practices working to manage chronic pain for patients with comprehensive care including interventional procedures, physical rehabilitation and medication management. “I am excited to bring a wide range of pain treatment options to patients,” he said. “I have a particular interest in neuromodulation which has shown promising outcomes for treatment of more complex pain.”
Virginia Tech served as the site for his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology as well as his Doctor of Medicine at the Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, VA. “I believe in using a patient-focused approach to care with candid, honest conversations in order to provide the best possible treatment curated for the individual and their underlying issue,” he said.
When putting together an individualized comprehensive treatment plan, Dr. Nagrani notes medications can be helpful for the short or long term but varies depending on their needs.
“The best part of this job is hearing how a treatment has positively changed a person’s quality of life,” he said.
