Skyler Jones, MD

Dr. Jones is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has been actively involved in research throughout his career, authoring and co-authoring multiple peer-reviewed publications in journals including the Journal of Current Glaucoma Practice and Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science.

He graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Mathematics. He earned his medical degree, cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where he achieved Preclinical Honors (maintaining an 4.0 GPA) and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed an internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia, serving as Chief Resident in his nal year. He subsequently completed a glaucoma fellowship at Wake Forest University.
