Dr.Chao saved my life. I had a hirendous fall and subsequently broke my neck, I wasn't sure if I would ever move again. Dr.Chao performed my surgery,made sure I got the best follow up care possible, and now I have full movement of my arms and legs. I don't think anyone else would have don't what he did or cared so much,to this day he is my hero.

I finally have hope !!! Been suffering for years with back problems that put me down and out for days on end I left my consultation literally in tears after he showed me I’m detail everything going on with my back and spine and what he plans to do to help me he is the most thorough kind hearted very knowledgeable dr I have ever had in my life. After years of feeling like a guiney pig with false solutions and improper diagnosis this dr is on his game he even talked about other surgeries to other parts of my body and is connecting my degeneration with my body to my body having abnormal inflamation threw out that needs to be looked into . I’ve had many drs, specialists and surgons in my life and he is by far a god send

I waited quit a bit to see the Dr. He did not spend much time with me. He was quick to review my xrays and wanted further imaging because of the findings. He didn't feel I was a candidate for surgery because of the extensive injury I sustained and my age. I am to young and I have buldging disc's and slip disc's with exposed and pinched nerves from my neck all the way to my lower back. He referred to it as 3 levels. He then said I would be following up with one of his PAs because he is to busy with surgeries.

Best doctor I think I have ever seen. He took immediate interest in my case and brought a chair over to his computer and sat me down next to him so we could review my X-ray as he explained his diagnosis to me and even drew me diagrams and he was spot on with my symptoms.

I didn’t see him. I saw one of his nurses. She was apologetic about not knowing who I was or that I was even there, was almost taken to get x-rays for another patient and then rushed out of the office. I apparently was checked out before I was even seen and they didn’t know I was still there. When speaking to the NP she spoke to me like I was stupid, made some very judgmental comments about my care and recommendations from a Neurologist and Neuro-Surgeon and because I couldn’t remember the exact name of the surgery I was recommended. Rude. Very rude I won’t be coming back. Also told me to go check out and walked into a half dark room with no one left to check me out. Did not get the note I was supposed to get.

I really can’t rate Dr Chao as I never see him when I go there…

Absolutely love Dr. Chao. He cares about his patients and does everything he can to ease the pain. I have complete trust and faith in him.

I don’t feel a doctor should be over an hour late for an appointment & I never saw the doctor. The PA came in & I don’t feel she knew much. A real waste of time

Dr Chao is amazing! I love his whole demeanor and his extensive knowledge of his fields of study. Certainly worth seeing. However, stress you wish to see him. You often get stuck for follow ups with techs. I personally don’t like that! Dr Chao in his own right though is fantastic!

I gave this reason is because I never met with Dr. Chao. I believe her name was Dr. Tran after waiting an hour. Then she basically told me I was having a hip replacement. I told her no and she said of course it's my decision. I really would prefer Dr. Chao.

Dr chao was patient and kind. We discussed my problems and he really listened to my concerns. I now have a treatment plan. He is an excellent surgeon.

I like Dr. Chao, he is up front and direct. No complaints with his staff, all plight and nice to me.

He was much to fast and did not tell me anything about the injection I am to get. It seems it takes a long time to get the injection. I do like him.

Dr Chao is very nice but I have only seen him once during almost a year of appointment. I have seen the PA’s in his place the rest of the time. I understood that he is a very busy doctor but I would think that he would want to connect to his patients more than 1 time in a year. Also the wait time is very long I’m on time to my appointments usually 10 min early. My time is just as important than anyone else. I waited 1 hour to be seen and the PA at the time was very nice but only spent 10-15 minutes with me.

Dr Chao is an excellent clinician with a gentle, caring touch.

This was the first time I’ve seen him and after about only 5 minutes he took steps to help me try to get to the bottom of pain I’ve had for about 2 months and many tests and many doctors later with no answers for the pain ... I was amazed at how caring he is... I would recommend him to ANYONE!

He welcomed me and said he is going to help me. I have a walker he said we can do better. He is awesome!!!

Didn’t really get much time with him. I’d say it was probably a total of 10 minutes. One minute it was let’s look over your xrays and then gets up and gets me a back support. He shows me an area on the X-ray asked me a question. When I answered him he had me get on the exam table and did a couple of quick tests and says yes you need an mri and we’ll get you approved and then he was gone. It felt very rushed. Fingers crossed follow up won’t be as fast paced so I can ask a few questions

Dr. Simon Chao is the Best

Dr. Chao showed genuine compassion for my discomfort, was very knowledgeable with regards to my areas of injury, showed & explained the areas of concern & ordered the appropriate tests, he engaged me in discussing all areas of concern & was very polite & professional.

He doesn’t tell you what to do he discusses with you the options and let you decide which way you would like to go. Most doctors push you into one way. He’s very polite very nice to talk with.

2 hour wait says need shots not surgery after 5 minutes had shots 4 times before Did not work 2 doctors and physical therapy and chiropractor says I do need surgery pissed off there is no claim no workers comp just want to work again

As a doctor he was fine, however I went in there in excruciating pain which he was very clearly aware of but refused to prescribe me a narcotic, even after I tried other options. I left in tears from pain and embarrassment. Not ok!!
