I have been a patient of Dr. Marten for over 3 years. The Dr. And Staff/Team are very professional, thorough, and punctual. I highly recommend!
Was in hurry and no bedside manner. First time having shoulder issues and was looking to have a little longer conversation. All I got was it’s arthritis and there’s nothing really you can do other then hold out on surgery. I’ve been told it’s a tendon issue and it gets catches which that’s what it feels more like but we couldn’t even have that discussion cause he was out of the room so quickly. I didn’t even get to see any x-rays.
He’s always professional you can tell he really knows the human body as injections are precisely placed. I went over three years on the last one in my shoulder.
I appreciate Dr. Sheldon's diagnosis and his directives as to where we go next. He is very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Both Asca (probably not spelled right) and Javier were great in helping to diagnose and document my condition. OrthoAZ has helped me in the past and they are helping me today.
Best Dr
I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I left my appointment with Dr. Shelden Martin incredibly disappointed. I was there for an orthopedic issue with my arm, and he was in the room for maybe two minutes total. From the beginning, I felt rushed and like I was a bother. As I rushed trying to explain my symptoms, I didn’t feel like he was really listening. Within about a minute, he had given me a diagnosis and was already heading toward the door. He never asked if I had questions, and I actually had to ask them while he was halfway out of the room. He stopped half way at the door to quickly answer. I consider myself easygoing and understand doctors are busy, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a specialist to take a few minutes to listen and allow you to ask questions. I have never left a medical appointment feeling so unimportant. I left feeling like I was just a number rather than a patient who came in because I needed help. Will not be back.
I arrived 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment. An hour later I'm still in the lobby waiting to be called back. I had to reschedule. Otherwise Dr. Martin is great.
Answered my questions and explained the disadvantages so I could make an informed decision about whether or not to have surgery.
Dr Martin was wonderful. Personable and to the point.
Informative and got to the point. Provided the medication needed for my pain.Thank you Doctor Martin!
