Fast and efficient
Professional, courteous and personable.
Dr. Martin was friendly and attentive. He explained my condition and up coming surgery clearly. I highly recommend Dr. Martin.
Dr Martin did an excellent job of explaining the condition of my shoulders. He took time to listen to all my questions and concerns, then answered them throughly. He ìs a highly rated specialist for a reason!
He had no idea about swimming as a sport. Talked in circles about all the “athletes” he has treated. Offered no insight, direction or opinion. Total waste of time.
First time meeting this doc. Professional, knowledgeable, intuitive and encouraging. A good experience!.
Upon arriving for my appointment, I faced a 45-minute delay with no prior notice. The consultation lasted only about five minutes. The doctor attributed my knee pain to my weight, despite my recent loss of 130 pounds and no issues since 2004. After I shared my medical history, his dismissive "good for you" made me feel undervalued. He recommended physical therapy but ignored a previous request for an MRI due to potential meniscal injury. The assistant was instructed to schedule therapy without a thorough evaluation. Overall, the interaction lacked professionalism and left me concerned about the quality of care.
Great experience after having so much pain for the last six months. Dr. Shelden suggested I get a cortisone shot, and I already feel so much better.
I’m disappointed with my experience due to poor communication and lack of patient engagement. Throughout my visits, I felt that my concerns were not fully heard or addressed. Important questions were either brushed off or answered in a way that left me with more uncertainty rather than clarity. This made it difficult to feel confident in the decisions being made about my health. Additionally, the overall level of engagement felt minimal. I did not feel like an active participant in my own care, which is something I value highly in a healthcare provider. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as clear communication, trust, and patient involvement are essential parts of quality medical care.
Great communication. Great bedside manner. Listing options from less invasive to ‘all in’ very personable.
