I was born and raised in Southern California. I stayed local for my undergraduate education and received my bachelors degree in biology from Point Loma Nazarene University. I then moved to Virginia to attend medical school at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine. I returned to California where I completed my obstetrics and gynecology residency at Kern Medical in Bakersfield.
I met and married my husband during residency and we made the choice to move to Idaho after I finished residency. We love experiencing all 4 seasons and the outdoor activities that come with them. I also enjoy cooking, going to farmers markets, traveling and watching football.
I am passionate about taking care of women. I believe in partnering with my patients to help them make the best decisions for them and their lives. I provide full spectrum OBGYN care, but have a special interest in contraception education, minimally invasive surgery, pregnancy and preventative care.
kind, good at answering my questions, efficient, got my Pap smear done along with some other medical tests, and it was quick and easy. good rapport.

Dr. Walters is good at listening and provides accurate information on all concerns. She is approachable and personable. Dr. Walters makes time for her patients and doesn’t rush through appointments. I would highly recommend her for your OB.
Amazing experience. She listened and had solutions. So friendly with a professional bedside manner.
Dr Walters is amazing! I’ve never felt like I’ve seen a provider that had me leaving feeling listened to and advocated for. She takes the time to pay attention to detail and you can tell how much she cares about her patients. I’m so happy to have found Dr Walters!
Dr. Walters is truly the best! She takes the time to listen, ask questions, and make sure you feel involved in every step of your care. She never makes you feel rushed during appointments and always makes you feel comfortable and heard. She is incredibly thorough, caring, and always has a smile on her face. I couldn’t recommend her more!
