Dr. Shayne Kelly is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, including arthroscopy of the hip, shoulder, and knee, shoulder replacement, and cartilage and joint preservation. He also provides care in joint replacement, fracture management, and general orthopaedics.
A Tri-Cities native, Dr. Kelly was raised on a farm north of Pasco in a large family rooted in faith, service, and an active lifestyle. He fell in love with sports and had success in football, basketball, and soccer. His passion for sports and the musculoskeletal system led him to pursue a career in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine.
After completing residency in California, Dr. Kelly trained at the University of Missouri, serving as team physician for Mizzou’s football, basketball, baseball, and volleyball teams. He later practiced in Indiana alongside his brother, serving as head team physician for the University of Southern Indiana and caring for numerous local high schools.
Now, Dr. Kelly and his wife, who is also from the Tri-Cities area, are thrilled to return home to raise their five children and give back to the community that shaped them. Together, they enjoy running, mountain biking, swimming, volunteering, and supporting local sports and events.
